Strategic User Guide
Master the Ladva intelligence engine to capture accurate valuations and maximize your liquidation margins.
Ladva breaks down the difference between what an item is worth on paper versus what it will sell for today.
- Target Valuation (The Theory): Represents the historical, long-term retail worth of your item. This is ideal for tracking your overall net worth, portfolio management, or for insurance purposes.
- Liquidation Strategy (The Reality): Provides the real-time, cash-in-hand price you can expect if you need to sell the asset today. It accounts for dealer margins, fees, and current market velocity to prevent you from getting lowballed.
Converting Reports
You can instantly convert a Valuation into a Liquidation Strategy (or vice versa) without having to take new photos. Look for these buttons on your completed asset cards:
Public Sharing
Every report can be shared publicly by clicking the Share icon on the asset card. This is incredibly useful when negotiating with a buyer or local dealer—you can text them a verified Ladva link to justify your asking price and prove the asset's real market floor.
Note: Generating a new Valuation or Liquidation report consumes 1 AI Credit.
Tagging your assets with Categories does more than just organize your feed. It essentially creates isolated Liquidity Pools.
When you filter your Vault by a specific Category (e.g., "Vintage Pokémon" or "Rolex Watches"), the System Status ticker at the top of the page dynamically recalculates. This allows you to instantly see the specific Liquid Cash Value and Dealer Margins Retained for that exact group of assets.
Inside a Liquidation Report, you will see a list of Recommended Sales Channels (e.g., eBay, Heritage Auctions, local dealers). Next to these channels is a Create Playbook button.
Clicking this generates a step-by-step How-To Guide tailored specifically to selling that exact item on that specific platform. It walks you through optimal title formatting, avoiding platform-specific scams, shipping best practices, and exact fee breakdowns so you can execute the sale safely.
Note: Generating a Playbook consumes 1 AI Credit.
The collectibles market moves fast. Portfolio Tracking allows you to digitize your entire collection and watch your net worth grow over time.
By toggling the AUTO-RUN switch on an asset card, the intelligence engine will automatically re-evaluate the item every 24 hours.
This ensures your Portfolio Value ticker always reflects the absolute latest market conditions and helps you spot sudden demand spikes (catalysts) before the broader market does. (Note: Each daily run consumes 1 AI Credit).
Market Intel is a premium feature that saves you countless hours of research. It provides macro-level analysis of entire collectible sectors (e.g., Rolex Submariners, Pokémon Sealed Product, High-End Comics).
When reviewing a specific item in your vault, look for the Intel button attached to its card:
These global reports suggest how to maximize your investment by showing you what specific assets to target, what to dump, and alerting you to upcoming catalysts that will shift prices.
Every report includes an Image Analysis section. The AI will explicitly tell you if your photos were too blurry, poorly lit, or insufficient to provide a highly accurate assessment.
Ladva supports over 208 categories, and new ones are added daily via our continuous self-learning engine. Always maintain a strict Single-Item Rule (do not upload group photos). Here is a general starting point for the most common collectibles:
- TCG / Trading Cards: Front and back, flat on a dark background. Angled shot to show holographic foil texture. Close-up of corners/edges.
- Coins: Straight down shot of Obverse (Front) and Reverse (Back). Critical: Extreme close-up of any Mint Marks or dates.
- Jewelry: Include a size reference (like a coin). Close-up of interior hallmarks, stamps (e.g., 14k, 925), and clasps.
- Watches: Clear shot of the dial/face. Case back. Close-up of the crown and any serial numbers between the lugs.
- Comics: Full front cover showing the spine. Back cover. Close-up of the barcode/UPC and the staple bindings.
- Antiques & Vintage: Overall shape. Close-up of maker's marks, signatures, or patent numbers underneath the base. Highlight any chips or damage.
While the AI is exceptional at visual identification, providing context in the Additional Details text box dramatically improves accuracy.
Crucial Data to provide if known:
• Jewelry: It is highly recommended to provide the exact weight in grams and the metal composition (e.g., "Weighs 12.4g, 14k gold").
• Coins: Providing the exact weight in grams can help the system verify authenticity.
• General Assets: Always note invisible damage or missing parts. (e.g., "slight fold on the bottom right corner not shown in pictures" or "missing the original power cable").
